This privacy notice provides information on how Pries Appliances Limited collects and processes your personal data when you visit our website or use our services.

The data we collect from/about you

• We may record telephone conversations that we have with you for control and training purposes. Personal or confidential information disclosed shall not be made available to any third party (unless required by law to do so) or used for marketing. Recorded conversations are deleted within three months after the recording was made.

• If you contact us by phone or email and this is provided voluntarily, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
• Transaction details for the fulfilment of your orders.

This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns and does not identify individuals. We collect some of this information using Cookies, see below. We may also collect any personal information which you allow to be shared that is part of your public profile on a third-party social network.
• We may receive personal information from other sources such as supplier partners, estate agents, insurance companies or joint marketing partners.

Information we collect/store for business contract purposes

• First name and surname
• Company name
• Company status
• VAT number
• Registered office number
• Email address
• Registered business address or (if a sole trader) a proprietor’s home address
• Telephone numbers, fax numbers and mobile numbers
• Credit requirements and limit if applicable
• Payment terms requirement

For Customers: If payment details are taken, e.g. credit card payments, these are administrated using our secure card payment system immediately without the need for logging the details anywhere. We do not hold bank and payment details anywhere on record.

For Suppliers: In addition to the above information, we hold bank and payment details. These are held securely with accounting and banking systems, with access limited to relevant account staff only.

We need the details listed above to meet our obligations when entering into and managing a business transaction with you. By entering into a business contract with us, you demonstrate a legitimate interest in receiving relevant communications from us. If you no longer wish to receive these communications, please contact us.

We use information held about you in the following ways:

We store the above data for all ‘data subjects’ within our secure cloud-hosted server environment protected with antivirus and firewall software systems in the following databases:

How We Share Your Personal Data

As a legitimate business interest, we may contact you shortly after your products have been delivered or repairs have been carried out to ask for feedback on our service. This is often a link to review us on Google.

We may contact you via email with offers related to items you have bought from us as a legitimate business interest to maintain a relationship with existing customers. You can opt out of this while you are placing an order or at any time after by sending an email entitled “Remove from Database” to letsfixit@hotmail.co.uk and we will promptly take steps to ensure that the information is deleted as soon reasonably practicable.

Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer to identify you and any orders in your shopping basket as you move about the site. All ecommerce websites use cookies in this way as it is the safest means of maintaining a link whilst you move from page to page. The cookie does not contain details of your order; only a unique number that is used to make the link between you, your order and the information you have provided to this website, ensuring that it is kept separate and secure from other users. The creation of a cookie on your computer does NOT give us access to other information on your computer.
